Jackie is not only a wonderful friend, but she is the "40 something" woman behind our t-shirt designs. A talented designer, Jackie put her heart and soul into this project, and we are very grateful. In addition to being a graphic designer, Jackie is the founder of two companies: MiniScrubs and Fotocharms. MiniScrubs sells the most adorable personalized doctor scrubs for infants through teens and Fotocharms creates charm bracelets using six photos. Meet our friend and 40something photographer, Martha Abelson! Martha (whose children attend school with Alisa's) specializes in creative, non-traditional lifestyle portraiture of newborns, babies and children throughout Chicago and the North Shore. She works on location and in natural light, with a relaxed and low-key approach that is focused on capturing her subjects' genuine expressions and natural beauty. Martha's work is her passion, and her three children are her inspiration. As a mom, she is keenly aware of the all-too-fleeting nature of childhood and the importance of having lasting images that are able to transport us back to that time of wonder each time we look at them.
